The best compliment I've ever received as a photographer wasn't about my photographs.

A guest at a wedding asked me, “Are you related to the family?”

“No, actually, I just met most of them today.”

“Really? I would've thought you'd known them for years!”

I still think about that interaction because it perfectly describes the experience I want every couple to have with us.

See, wedding photography is a personality gig just as much as it is a creative one. You're inviting someone into some of the most personal moments of your life, spending days together, and trusting them around the people you love most.

Who that person is matters.

We’re Jansen & Ane (pronounced “Ah-nee”) — partners in life and business since 2020. Ane's been an important part of building what Jansen Weddings is today. From weddings close to home to celebrations across more than 20 countries, we've seen just about everything a wedding day can throw at us. That experience has taught us how to anticipate moments, handle the unexpected, and keep things feeling easy, even when they sometimes aren't.

My goal has always been to make people feel like they've known me for years, even if we just met that morning. Above all, I want you to enjoy your wedding day and love every moment of it.

One of my favorite parts of this job is hearing from our couples afterward. Knowing they love their photographs means the world to me, but hearing, “We loved having you both there,” means just as much.
